WhatsApp is looking into introducing a new button for resending status updates where users are mentioned in a future update. The current button, available to some beta testers, is a simple icon next to the caption bar, which might not be clear to all users. The upcoming redesigned button will be larger, feature both an icon and text, and be placed above the caption bar to make its function more apparent to users.

Disney+ establishes deadline to stop sharing passwords in Brazil.

Disney+ will start restricting shared passwords among individuals not residing in the same place in Brazil from November 12, following Netflix’s lead. This policy is currently in effect in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom, and Brazilian users have started receiving notifications about the change.

Disney+ is set to put an end to the practice of sharing passwords.

Disney+ will verify the subscriber’s location by analyzing account activity, internet connection, and devices employed, ensuring that household members can continue to access the service without disruption.

In the United States, there is a current feature allowing for an extra fee to include users from different households in the plan. This feature is expected to be extended to other countries, such as Brazil, soon. This means that sharing the account will be possible by paying an additional fee for each extra residence.

Each additional subscriber to Netflix incurs an additional fee of R$ 12.90. Disney+ might consider implementing a similar approach in Brazil.
