    Windows 11 KB5043178 and KB5043145 get fresh updates; read more about it

    Microsoft released several updates for Windows 11 this week, providing users with notable improvements. These updates include builds 26100.1876 for Windows Insider Preview program members, as well as builds 22621.4247 and 22631.4247, which introduce new features and performance enhancements.

    Build 26100.1876 (KB5043178)

    1. When you open the Start menu, you will now see the “Sign out” option in the account manager, allowing for easy user switching by selecting the ellipsis (…) to access a list of other profiles.
    2. Now you can quickly and efficiently share files directly from the search results in the taskbar search box with the Enhanced Taskbar feature.
    3. The Delivery Optimization page has been updated with a new design to align with the modern look of Windows 11. Additionally, there is now a suggestion to turn off HDR to conserve power on devices that support it.
    4. Media playback controls are now conveniently located in the middle of the lock screen for easy access while listening to music or watching videos.
    5. When the battery level drops to 20%, a notification will remind you to plug in your device, particularly if energy saving mode is on.
