Paid Market has introduced a new cryptocurrency linked to the dollar called Meli Dollar.

The Pago Market, a financial branch of the Free Market, introduced Meli Dollar, a stablecoin linked to the U.S. dollar, aiming to provide more stability to Brazilian cryptocurrency enthusiasts by reducing sudden price changes and enhancing investor security.

How does the Meli Dollar function?

The Meli Dollar was created to offer a stable digital currency for cryptocurrency investors seeking lower volatility. Paid Market customers can purchase and sell Meli Dollar directly through the fintech app using real balance and without intermediary fees.

To guarantee trust in transactions involving Meli Dollar, Pago Market has collaborated with Ripio, a major cryptocurrency in Latin America. Ripio will serve as a guide and facilitator for the market and exchange, ensuring the safety and transparency of transactions conducted through the Pago Market app.

Sebastian Serrano, the president of Ripio, believes that Meli Dollar provides a cost-effective way to safeguard users’ purchasing power during economic instability, serving as a reliable option amid financial market uncertainties.

Meli Dollar, issued by Meli Uruguay S.R.L., a part of the Free Market group, is a new product in the crypto market. In addition to offering bitcoin and ether trading options, Pago Market introduced Coin Market in 2022 as a digital currency for its loyalty program.

Moto Tag has been introduced in Brazil featuring Air design Tag at a more affordable cost.

Motorola has introduced Moto Tag in Brazil, a tracking device intended to rival the Apple AirTag and Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2. Priced at R$ 299, it offers a budget-friendly and convenient option, particularly for Android users.

Moto Tag features a circular design, various colors, and IP67 protection.

Moto Tag has a circular design similar to a coin and can be attached to accessories like keychains. It is offered in Dark Blue and Green colors, unlike the Galaxy SmartTag 2, which has a built-in handle for easy attachment.

Moto Tag’s main advantage is its broad compatibility with various Android smartphones, unlike Samsung’s SmartTag 2, which is more focused on Galaxy devices.

Moto Tag integrates with Google’s “Find My Device,” eliminating the need for extra apps to track items. However, it lacks UWB technology found in Apple and Samsung devices, affecting accuracy in crowded environments like shopping malls or airports. In these situations, using the sound alert may help locate the device.

    Additional materials

Moto Tag includes practical functions such as a versatile button that can be personalized to assist in locating the user’s mobile device. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy for a reliable connection and is powered by a CR2032 battery that is simple to replace and lasts around one year on average.

Moto Tag is certified with IP67 for added protection, allowing it to withstand water and dust and be submerged in fresh water for up to 30 minutes.
