Warner Bros. recently unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for “The Lord of the Rings: The Rohirrim War”, an animated film that offers a fresh take on J.R. Tolkien’s renowned universe. Taking place around two hundred years prior to Peter Jackson’s trilogy, the movie is generating excitement among Middle Earth enthusiasts. It is scheduled to debut on December 15.
The tale of Helm Hammerhand
The movie is set 183 years prior to the original trilogy and centers around Helm Hammerhand, the renowned king of Rohan. The storyline commences with Wulf seeking vengeance for his father’s demise by launching an unexpected assault on the kingdom. Helm and his followers are forced to seek shelter in an old stronghold, later named the Helm’s Deep.
The show includes a primary voice-over cast that consists of Brian Cox, Lorraine Ashbourne, Shaun Dooley, and Miranda Otto, known for their work in popular series such as Bridgerton, The Witcher, and Homeland.
