Apple introduces a fresh iMac model featuring the M4 chip, enhanced camera, and updated color options.

Apple has upgraded the 24-inch iMac with the M4 chip, enhanced camera, new colors, and up to 32 GB of RAM, following the release of the iMac with the M3 chip about a year ago. International availability of this updated version has not been confirmed yet.

Additionally, the M4 features an improved 16-core Neural Engine that boosts Apple Intelligence performance, surpassing the M1 NPU by threefold in speed.

The latest iMac model offers a minimum of 16 GB RAM, exceeding the 8 GB found in the previous base version, and provides choices of 24 GB and 32 GB. It also features SSD storage starting from 256 GB, which can be expanded to 2 TB.

The top-tier version of the new iMac features four Thunderbolt 4 ports that support Ethernet and can be used with two external monitors of 6K at 60 Hz or one monitor of 8K at 120 Hz.
