Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S24 FE, the latest addition to the Galaxy S24 series. Positioned as an affordable high-end option, this model boasts advanced features at a more competitive price point compared to flagship models like the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra. Despite sharing the same design as the pricier models, the Galaxy S24 FE also brings enhancements over its predecessor.

The Galaxy S24 FE features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, larger than the one on the Galaxy S23 FE, with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth navigation and vibrant, clear colors. The 10 MP front camera is discreetly placed in the center at the top of the screen.
The rear cameras are impressive, featuring a primary 50 MP lens with optical stabilization for sharp images in various lighting conditions. Additionally, there is a 12 MP ultrawide lens and an 8 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom to capture more from a distance.
The Galaxy S24 FE is equipped with Samsung’s latest Exynos 2400e processor, promising support for advanced features like ray tracing that are likely to appeal to gamers. Additionally, the Galaxy AI technology offers advanced functions such as simultaneous translation and writing suggestions.
The S24 FE is equipped with a 4,700 mAh battery and 25W fast charging, enabling a 50% charge in 30 minutes. It also features IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, along with support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.
The Galaxy S24 FE is pre-installed with Android 14 and One UI 6.1. Samsung promises software updates and security patches for up to seven years, ensuring it can be upgraded to Android 21.
Price and when the product is available
The Galaxy S24 FE is offered for pre-sale in the United States starting at $649, with storage choices of 128 GB, 256 GB, and up to 512 GB, and various color options such as graphite, gray, blue, green, and golden. The release in Brazil is scheduled for October 1st.
