Research suggests that Artificial Intelligence will be the most critical technology in 2025.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is predicted to be the most influential technology in 2025, according to a global survey by IEEE. Experts from five countries, including Brazil, believe that AI will significantly impact sectors such as security and entertainment. Cloud computing and robotics are also expected to be prominent technologies in the upcoming year.

How do these technologies affect our daily lives?

These advancements are expected to enhance various areas, from digital security to healthcare. For instance, AI will enable real-time detection of security threats to safeguard data from attacks and accelerate software development. Additionally, technologies like extended reality (XR) will be utilized more frequently for simulations and prototype creation in secure settings.

The study in Brazil identified telecommunications, banking and financial services, and media and entertainment as the sectors that will see the greatest advantages from these technologies. Additionally, there is a growing trend in Brazil towards generative AI, which generates content and automates tasks, with over 40% of Brazilian companies planning to incorporate this technology by 2025.

91% of experts expect increased understanding of AI generative technology over time, anticipating improved accuracy and transparency to prevent issues such as deepfakes.
