Keys and Chapolin have returned to SBT.

Chaves and Chapolim fans have a reason to rejoice as the beloved Mexican shows are once again airing on SBT. The station recently confirmed a new deal with Televisa, ensuring that these classic series will be available on both traditional TV and the +SBT free streaming platform. This marks a return of the shows after a four-year absence, bringing back cherished memories for viewers who have been enjoying them on the channel since 1984.

Keys and Chapolin support the SBT channel and the SBT app grid.

In 2020, Chaves and Chapolin were taken off the air in Latin America because of a dispute between Roberto Gómez Bolaños’ family, who created the shows, and Televisa. Fans expressed sadness on social media over the shows being cancelled.

The widow of Bolaños, actress Florinda Meza, criticized the cancellation of the series and emphasized its impact on fans. After lengthy negotiations involving Globo, SBT reached an agreement to air the episodes on TV and its streaming service +SBT.

The +SBT service is available on various devices such as mobile phones, tablets, connected TVs, and computers. The app can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Play Store, with more than a million downloads, making it a popular choice for viewing classic shows and other SBT content.
